Maxon chooses Taurus to kickstart new identity

Maxon Australia, a provider of CDMA wireless modems, initially approached Taurus to re-brand its identity and present a clear, consistent front to customers, suppliers and partners.

To deliver on these objectives, Taurus provided Maxon with a KickStart Marketing campaign, including the design of a new logo, overhauled stationery suite, exhibition banners, promotional products and re-designed product packaging. The flagship of this new identity is a comprehensive website, designed, written and built by Taurus. Almost un-recognisable from its former 'technical' look and feel, Maxon has taken on a cleaner, fresher image, addressing its separate market segments and meeting one of its core campaign objectives.

In addition to marketing support, Taurus also provides Maxon with a comprehensive public relations service.

Founded in 1985, Esker operates globally and has over 80,000 customers and millions of licensed users worldwide. Esker provides organisations with effective document management through intelligent delivery of vital business through streamlined business processes, reduced costs, simplified IT infrastructure, enhanced customer satisfaction, and quality assurance.

Taurus was initially commissioned by Esker for marketing support. The scope of services quickly expanded to encompass public relations including assisting Esker with its corporate re-branding, case studies for both sales support and media use, events support and mentoring internal junior staff. Taurus has also assisted Esker with proactive media relations, and was the first agency worldwide to achieve coverage for Esker in a major daily financial newspaper.

Taurus was handpicked by KAZ founder, Peter Kazacos in 1995 to help build the IBM Business Partner's brand into the largest Australian owned IT services company in the Asia Pacific. Eleven years later, through the most successful IPO listing in Australia's IT history, and the acquisition of Aspect Computing, Taurus has assisted with all facets of the marketing communications mix.

This has included seminar and event support such as IBM's Interactive expo, Gartner and golf days through to internal communications and newsletters; distributor kits; customer loyalty programs; mentoring and hiring of internal marketing staff; sales promotion items; staff events; major milestone celebrations such as the 10 year anniversary of KAZ; online product demonstrations; new services and product launches; invitations; brochures and the production of over 30 case studies.

Datacom achieves quick return from marketing experts Taurus

As a rapidly expanding local IT services company, Datacom choose strategic marketing as the key to compete successfully against its multi-national rivals.

In 2004, when the company decided to take its brand presence to the next level in Australia, Datacom chose the integrated expertise of Taurus. In a move to improve both external and internal communications, Datacom used the Taurus strategic workshop to define its corporate key messages. From this, Taurus wrote and designed Datacom's corporate capabilities brochure, which now forms a powerful part of its sales process.

The next step was developing Datacom's first customer case studies to provide credibility with prospective clients in pre-sales, at events and online. Datacom also draws upon Taurus trade show experience to get maximum ROI from events including Gartner's IT Symposium.

Taurus keeps pace with fast-growing listed company ConnXion

ConnXion is an innovative Australian technology company who is rapidly expanding its international document production and multi-channel delivery services. By selecting Taurus in 2005 as its integrated marketing partner to support the company, ConnXion strived to attract large customers including Coca Cola Amatil, DHL and Pacific Brands.

Since then, Taurus has armed ConnXion with the tools its sales team needs to close high-value deals. This has included writing and designing ConnXion's quarterly newsletter, producing its first customer case studies and new product brochures, as well supporting ConnXion with events such as its annual Christmas party.

Today, Taurus and ConnXion work closely to meet the evolving needs of this dynamic company, and ensure it is well equipped for the next phase of its rapid growth trajectory.

Snapdragon

Snapdragon enlists Taurus to establish brand and profile

Australia leading Microsoft CRM specialist Snapdragon Consulting has worked closely with Taurus since its inception, to kickstart its marketing, build brand and drive sales. To develop Snapdragon's identity, Taurus designed its eye-catching logo and created an effective suite of collateral including stationery, brochures and case studies. Snapdragon's website has also benefited from the Taurus design and marketing expertise with overhauled content and layout to give it a more professional appearance.

To drive lead generation, Taurus worked with Snapdragon to organise a series of Microsoft CRM breakfast seminars and to complement this, has implemented a case study programme that has resulted in a strong sales suite for Snapdragon.

Taurus also runs Snapdragon's PR program, with highlights including press coverage in The Bulletin, The Australian, MIS, ARN and a profile feature on Snapdragon MD, Guy Riddle in The Sydney Morning Herald.
